Abstract Submission

Abstract Writing Guidelines

We welcome presentations from researchers interested in the theme 'Transforming the Curriculum for the Future: Navigating Inclusiveness and Digitalization'. Proposals addressing any topic related to the sub-themes of the conference will also be taken into consideration. Proposals on any topic related to the sub-themes of the conference will be considered. You are requested to consider the following guidelines while writing abstracts.

First, the abstracts should address the following:

  1. Background to the topic
  2. Aim of the study
  3. Theoretical framework
  4. Research methods
  5. Research findings and conclusion

 

Next, the template below should be considered for abstract submission.

  • Abstract title - no more than 14 words in length (no abbreviations)
  • Key words - 3 - 5 key words in alphabetical order separated with comma and placed before references.
  • Length - between 500 -750 words.
  • Margins -  top, bottom, left, right 2,54cm
  • Font - Times New Roman
  • Font size - title of the study - 16 pt., main titles - 14 pt., and the text 12 pt.
  • Line spacing - text spacing single, paragraph spacing 6nk, reference spacing 3nk
  • Justification - fully justified
  • Format and Citation - APA 7th Style
  • Abstract citations - must be referenced.
  • Data display - no tables or graphs.

Major Highlights:

  • Both Turkish and English abstracts must be submitted.
  • Abstract submission will be subjected to a blind review process.
  • Abstracts are accepted on the basis that they represent original work and should not have previously been presented or published.
  • All accepted conference abstracts will be published in the abstract book.
  • The abstracts which do not adhere to the aforementioned aspects of the study and format guidelines are unlikely to be accepted.
